One Example Is Worth A Thousand Arguments

Arguments, controversies, divergent opinions are usually happen between people. The arguments especially happen between parents and children. There is a saying in Chinese, Crooked down beams are caused of not straight up beams. The meaning is as the same as fish begins to rot from the head in English. Children who have bad habits are usually influenced by their parents. In Chinese culture, I think over 95% Fathers and Mothers overly put emphasis on their dignities. When controversies happen, they do never say sorry to parents. Although the right side is by children, parents also force children to commit faults. So up to now, my parents have never said sorry to me since I was born. One day, Arguments, controversies, and divergent opinions happened between my mother and me. I told my mother that if you say sorry, I will end this quarrel and ignore her faults. My mother had the impudence to reply me. Did you say sorry to me before? Why should I say sorry to you firsly?…..I was speechless again. So this is a typical family education in Taiwanese society.

Sleep

Not to mention that sleep is very important to human being, but human being usually don’t follow their biological clock. The reasons are from many situations, such as work, study, raising kids and elders…etc. I also go to bed late, but to be a night owl is not my intention. Sometimes I need to work overtime and sometime I need to study. I seldom nap after work for 2~3 hours, then do other things and study. Before mid-term and final-term, I usually stay up late. So now I have a wish, I want to sleep whole a day after my final-term.Not to mention that sleep is very important to human being, but human being usually don’t follow their biological clock. The reasons are from many situations, such as work, study, raising kids and elders…etc. I also go to bed late, but to be a night owl is not my intention. A Mouse

One day, one of my company’s customers gave us a call for a trouble of using a new testing machine. With the call, the old women complained our machine could not be used anymore. Our sales man was very to listen her complaint and try to eliminate her problems by call. The old woman said that our machine did not work well and anything showed on the screen is unusual. She seriously told our sales man if we did not give her a elimination way, her company will return goods. The customer is very far from us, but my company finally sent an engineer to her. Our engineer checked all the details of machine, but found nothing abnormal. So the old women is requested to operate the machine. After booted, she started to say, see! Your machine is strange, the cursor can not click and the direction is also wrong. Our engineer told her that she didn’t use the mouse in right way, she use the mouse by the other way round……The old women also felt strange and asked our engineer, why? The mouse’s tail is back. Our engineer was speechless….

Refrigerator Magnets

Refrigerator magnets are those magnets which stuck on the refrigerators. Many kinds of refrigerator magnets we can easily see in the holiday resorts and tourism areas. Tourists usually bring some refrigerator magnets home in order to save their beautiful travel memory. Every tourism area usually has their own refrigerator can represent its features. A refrigerator magnet is good bath as a present and for one’s own enjoyment. I always buy some refrigerator magnets from where I travel. The price of a refrigerator magnet can also reflect the situation of its locating country. Same kind of magnets cost since cheap to expensive. No matter they are cheap or expensive, most of them are made in China.

Mutually Giving Presents

A present always make a person surprised. Not to mention the present is unexpected. People usually held this game on a festival or special day. Friends or family members prepare presents in advance. How exciting and amusing is the process of giving presents mutually and open them. Kind people always prepare nice, sweet or discreet presents; some people do not. The purpose of this game is to forward the good relationship. Receivers usually do not focus on the price, but they also feel bad if receive a strange present. For example, not practical things or garbage or used things. Recently I heard that my friend received a present with the game. What she received is a measuring tape……..at the moment, she was stunned and speechless.

Macbook Pro

As we all know, Apple’s products are always delicate and expensive. Its system is also not like the usual used interface of windows. The users of Apple are still getting more amore then before. Even I also lost my shield…..I bought a Macbook Pro. The purpose I bought it is not about sake of show off or having no idea to spend money. My not book is old. I need a note book that can take out. The conditions meeting my need must are light, delicate, not many people have, and the most importance is the lasting power. After I collect many information, SONY, TOSHIBA, and Apple become my final selections. In the reality, I didn’t know how to select one between these three brands because they all have excellent figures and functions. The prices also don’t have big difference. So I asked some suggestions from my friends. They all recommend Apple……..So now I am glad I finally have my own Apple note book.

MSN-04 Sazabi

MSN-04 is a red mobile suit made by Principality of Zeon. Its name is Sazabi. The structure is much bigger then normal mobile suits. The first time I saw Sazabi, I felt my heart was vibrating. So cool so nice look so spectacular mobile suit. I can’t help, but set my eyes on it. It is so delicate, strong, and aggressive that my heart is invaded by Sazabi. Although Sazabi is defeated finally, I think it is the strongest mobile suit. Sazabi’s driver has nick name called Red Comet. I don’t know the source of the nick name, but Red Comet is very suitable to Sazabi and its driver. Hope the author can write more stories about Sazabi because in my aspect that Sazabi is the best.

Gundam RX-782

RX-782 is the first Gundam made by earth united army and the first appearance is in the side 7 of colonization star. RX-782 doesn’t has delicate figure then newer mobile suits, but its strong weapons and capacities fix my eyes on very much. Although RX-782 is not the best look, it is one of the most popular mobile suits. The type of mobile suits I like is evil look and they all made by Principality of Zeon. RX-782 is made by Earth Federation Forces. Fortunately, RX-782 is not the first mobile suits I know, or I think I will not like this animation.

Gundam

Gundam animation is very popular not only in Japan area. Now this animation has many new versions and translated into many languages around the world. Gundam is a kind of mobile suit and the RX-782 is the first Gundam made by E.F.F (Earth Federation Forces) in the animation. Compare with newer works , RX-782 doesn’t delicate figure, but it has a strong weapons and structure. I know Gundam when I was a child, but the time I really like Gundam was when one day I was selecting a PSP game in a store. I saw many sorts of game, only the Gundam game was mostly visible. I don’t know why it seemed a voice talked me to buy it. Then I bought it. After I played the game, I am fascinated by Gundam from played the game. Now I often concern the news about Gundam. I like Gundam now.

Time and Watches

Time goes never stop. Past time never come back, either. People follow the time to do everything, such as wake up, eat three meals a day, go to school or work, go to bed…etc. We do know the importance of time, but we do also waste much time on no worth things, such as chatting with someone when having free time, sitting in front of TV with empty brain, surfing internet all day. Although I also know time is important, I seldom immerse into lazy. Time is so important that people need to grasp what they can do in a limited time. Watches become one of paraphernalia. We can see the figure of watches from cheap to expensive, from practical one to luxurious one. Now the significance of watches is not able to be substituted, but wearing watches is the purpose for too many people to decorate themselves or show off. People who regard time as important thing are still mass. I put emphasis on punctual so I lay equal emphasis on the real use and decoration of my watches.

There is saying “Technology was born via man”. This is because man are lazy by nature. Now technology is inseparable from human civilization since the discovery of tools and fire. Granted that technology has brought a lot of negative impacts to the earth, but Technology has become an integrated part of our life. I am in the view of let technology continue to develop.

As for the its impacts on the environment. Leave the problems for the environmentalists to worry about. If indeed, the problems are so important to environmentalists, then they should abandon all the technological paraphernalia around them. So their protestations are meaningful

. What we need to do is to balance the use of technology. Better use the same technology to rectify all the negative impacts which has created, and use more proper ways to create a better tomorrow.

Nowadays, people often send e cards to their family members or friends. Sending a e card is very easy and convenient. It also makes receiving a greeting less meaningful. Thirdly, the never ending pursue of materialistic satisfaction. Never ending is also creating the unnecessary need to consume and waste. For example, people never ending to upgrade their mobile phones in order to pursue better design, better program, more functions.

Technology brings human civilization a lot of conveniences and eases. Behind the repaid development of high technology, many negative impacts also come with it. Firstly, Premature or overly rely on high technology products, can impair the development of the thinking process. One of the very strong evidence is when children are introduced to personal computer too early in their live, display the inability to concentrate, unable to focus for long period of time. Their thinking process is significantly slower, and their ability to think logically is weak. Study also shows that these kids have difficulties in learning Chinese language when in school.

Future to come of Technology

The future of technology will move toward "multi functional". The product of multi functions is just like smart phone. Most digital equipment will have the ability to do more then one function. For example, a wrist watch may double up as a personal computer. MP3 will no longer be just a player, but more?

More and more sophisticated equipments will further enhance people’s life in the future, such as advance robotic equipments, voice activated services, remote activated service, or motion activated services. For the purpose of using less steps, the future techno products will be designed to “one touch” or artificial intelligence.

My Dream, My aspiration

As most of my friends know, photography is both my passion and hobby. Professionally I am an executive in shipping firm. Most of them might have known me as a very vocal and passionate person. That would not hesitate to voice out any thing that I see as in justice or unfair. However, this time, I though I will talk about something difference for a change. That is my dream, and my aspiration. Many of friends might not know this....other then photography... I am also very Passionate about coffee.....in both making and drinking of it.

I have actually worked in a café shop for almost 3 years. This particular café shop is not one of those chain cafe where they employed very poor brewing methods. They follow serving coffee for the sake of serving coffee. The café shop I worked in, the owner was extremely particular about the quality of the coffee, the taste and all the detail of making and serving up a good cup of coffee. Under his training, I learned that making coffee is just not just brewing up a hot cup of beverage. I was extremely interested in the art of coffee making. Even after all these time, I am still able and enjoy the opportunity to wipe up a good cup cappuccino or cafe latte.

I once thought of opening up a café shop com toy store. That was because I was still very young then, and the child inside of me I always had this beautify picture. The picture is that sitting under the warm afternoon sun, next to the cafe window sipping a nice cup of coffee with my lover, reading a book and listening to my favorite music. That was a very romantic and happy notion, but I have yet achieved this dream. I am still an average employee in the corporate world. However, I did manage to find a wonderful life time hobby during this time, and that is photography. As for now, that notion of owning a cafe may still happen in the future. But for now, drinking a nice cup of coffee will suffice. The romantic notion will have to be just a nice sweet image tucked way in my heart.

Coffee Cups

There are many kinds coffee cups. The use times depend on the names of coffee. Big, small, tall, and short cups can be seen in a coffee shop. The functions of coffee cups are not to load coffee but also to be decorations. Some people use coffee to show their sense. I usually buy some delicate and special coffee cups with design to be the brush pots. I also use coffee cups to load some little things.

Many designers put their creative ideas into coffee cups. The creative ideas can make the coffee cups have beautiful looks and practical valves. For the reasons, I always can not help but set me eyes on the beautiful coffee exhibiting in the windows. Many people show their senses through some little things. I think a coffee cup is a good way to tell someone about your sense with silence. So I have bought too many coffee cups. Now I often tell myself that I can only see, but cannot buy when I set my eyes on coffee cups in the windows.

A Cup of Coffee

There is a saying that an apple a day keeps the doctor away. In the current society, apples are uncertainly important to people, but many people absolutely need coffees every day, especially office clerks. We can often see that many office clerks go to office with cups of coffee. I think that coffees have become a part of work.

I remember that the first cup of coffee I drink was a cup of black coffee. It was very bitter. I didn't like it. Nobody told me that adding sugars and milk into the black coffee would make the coffee be delicious. So I didn't think coffee was a good beverage till the first latte. The first time I drank a cup of latte coffee in a special coffee shop in Yiggie. The cup of latte is full of milk and puffy formed milk. The puffy formed milk is the most difference from what I drank before. Since the latte, my thinking of coffees was changed. I started to like to drink coffees. I can never forget the feeling that my first time had an enjoyment with the puffy formed.

Pesticides

There are too many kinds of harmful insects around our life. We can often see ants, cockroach, flies, mosquitoes appearing. Undeniably, I hate the harmful insects. So the insects prevent processes are very important. Although the prevent processes are well, some harmful insects sometime appear. Every time I see them appearing. I can only do a thing that is to kill them.

In order to kill harmful insects instantaneously, I should put a pesticide in my house. When any harmful insects appear, I can catch the pesticide immediately and spray them. All processes should be finished within 1 minute or the harmful insects will escape from my eyes.

Napkin

Paper is a great creation from China. People have been relying paper for many things since hundreds years ago. After hundreds year, napkin was created. In my perspective, napkins are more important then papers. The most functions of papers are memory, recording information, circulating messages ...and etc. Under current technology, the functions can be replaced by other ways, but the importance of napkins seem not to be replaced easily.

Why are napkins important? I think besides convenient use and cleaning function, the most important for users is available with abandoned after use. As we all know, the environmental protections are advocated around the world. Before the thins which can replace napkin completely appear, people will still use napkin.

Vegetables

Vegetable is a kind of good foods. Vegetables have many fibrins which can offer humans necessary nutrition. Eating vegetables has many advantages. Fibrins are good for cleaning bowels and metabolism as well. Fibrins can also make humans prevent colon cancer. We can easily find so many advantages of vegetables, but so many people still don’t like to eat vegetables.

The diet culture in Taiwan, foods from vegetables are not valued so much as from meat. Many parents also don’t have their children know the importance of eating vegetables. The main reason is that the parents also don’t know the importance. For environmentally friendly, many people advocate vegetarian. I totally agree the perspectives, but I still need meats. In order to finish my jobs with sufficient energy, I will still make great efforts to eat melts although I like to eat vegetables.

Underpants

There are many kinds of underpants in the markets. Although underpants can not easily seen by other people, people often wear beautiful underpants. Now an underpants is not only a underpants wore inside a pants. It also emphasizes other perspectives.

According to comfort, some people like to wear briefs, some people like to wear briefs, and some people like to wear boxer briefs. The patterns on the underpants are also various. In my opinion, the type of underpants and the patterns show the owners senses. As the reasons, more and more underpants boards put their products in Taiwan markets. People who can accept expensive underpants with gorgeous patterns are also getting more and more. Wearing underpants involves not only physiology but also spirit. Underpants also bring ways to people who pursue their ideal life style.

Western Breakfast

Although as Chinese persons, people eat more then Chinese foods in Taiwan. The ratio of western foods appeared on table of breakfast is getting higher and higher. People usually rather choose western foods for a meal then Chinese foods. In my opinion, the reasons for a person choosing to eat western foods as follow.

The diet culture in Taiwan has been influenced by western countries. Undeniably, the ingredients and cocking ways of western breakfast are simpler. People in the cities need to face busy day when they open eyes. Many mothers or fathers also need to work and care children. A cup of milk, a sandwich or a hambrug are the prior selection. If we want to have breakfast outside, western breakfast stories are also more then Chinese breakfast stories. I think the reason is also …… convenient.

Fortunate Number and Unfortunate Number

Each country has traditions. Every tradition influences people not only life but also thinking. The influences usually contain eating, drinking, speaking, choosing…etc. People If someone immerses in traditions too much, I think the person has a unhealthy obsession with traditions.

The number, 8, is good number in Chinese culture. Chinese people believe that 8 can bring fortunes and wealth. For this reason, Chinese people especially like to use this number as long as 8 can be used anywhere. The most we can find is that people like to select a mobile phone number with not at last a 8. More 8s are more better.

The number, 4, is not a good number in Chinese culture because the pronunciation is similar with the Chinese word, dead. Chinese people believe that 4 can bring misfortune. For this reason, Chinese people especially avoid this number to appear around their life. We can also find that many buildings don’t have 4th floor, especially hospital.

It seems like a superstition that 8 means fortunes and 4 mean misfortunes in Chinese culture. People still have proved effective every time. As a person lives under Chinese culture, the unique way I can follow is not to touch the taboos.

Long Time No See, Ken Ting

Ken Ting is a famous tourism attraction and holiday resort in South Taiwan. Many people spend their holidays in Ken Ting. My last trip in Ken Ting is very fat from now. I almost lose the memory of Ken Ting. I have a choice to have new memory about Ken Ting because my friends invited me to their Ken Ting travel.

South Taiwan is too hot. I sweat everywhere outside, but also have enjoyment with sunshine. In Ken Ting, water activities are very prosperous. Tourists can have fun with swimming, kayak, surfing, skindiving, beachvolleyball, jet skis…etc. This time I tried skindiving. I saw many beautiful coral reefs and tropical fishes over the ocean. Although the coral reefs are totally beautiful, some of them are dark. I think the dark coral reefs might be dead. Delicious foods can be missed, neither if we travel Ken Ting. Sea foods and local foods are worth to eat so I had many kinds of sea foods. After dinner, I rambled around the beach with the voice of sea waves. The short trip gave me a nice memory in this summer vacation.

Public lavatories

A usual human empties the bowels everyday. Emptying the bowels is usually finished in a lavatory. A good environment can make a person empty the bowels smoothly and comfortably so the lavatory is very important in our life. It is an unbearable pain when we need a public lavatory but there is no one we can find immediately.

Now we can easily see many public lavatories around us. A kind of public lavatory is extensively set outside in parks, tourism attractions, bustling streets. We call the kind of public lavatory as mobile lavatory. Mobile lavatories can offer tourists a good place when they need to go to the lavatory. If we need to go to the lavatory outside in Taipei, how can we do? I can predicate that Mcdonalds and MRT stations are the best choices.

A public lavatory can show the cultivation of a enterprise or a country. Taiwanese government’s operating enterprises need to improve their public facilities, especially the public lavatories in train stations.

Street Lights

There are many kinds of street lights. We can often see various street lights in the cities. Every street light always stands and illuminates at night. Normal, huge, gorgeous, elegance street lights, they are very important to cities. Cities cannot lack street, either.

In Taiwan, the functions of street lights are not only illumination but also business. People can easily see many small piece of advertisements stuck on street lights. The advertisements are usually contained moving house, house rental, wander away, help wanted, sexual services…etc. I think it is very nonsensical to stick the any information on street lights because less people are willing to stop and pay attention to see the advertisements. Our government also clears them regularly. Although the small piece of advertisements would be cleared, there were many stains retained on street lights. They are very ugly.

New Son, SIGMA 10-20mm

As we all know my interesting is photograph. I have been waiting for a lens, SIGMA 10-20mm. The SIGMA 10-20mm is a wide zoom lens I took a call on July 21st. A camera salesclerk gave me a call and told me the lens I am waiting arrived. I was very surprised. I asked the salesclerk to retain the lens for me. The news made sleep with excited at that night.

The next day I directly went to the camera store after work. The salesclerk showed me the lens. I cannot shield my eyes form the lens. I can intensely realize that the lens was saying “hello Kevin, bring me back”. Next, I assembled the lens on body and started to check its functions. 10-20mm is very wide. User can easily take a photo with full view. I am very satisfied with it, but the satisfied will cost me 24 pieces of little boys.

This SIGMA 10-20mm is my ninth son. I hope it can bring me more surprises and different feelings in the future days.

There are coral reefs, and swimming in the sea is safe from sharks and sea creatures, Ttat is one side, that is the beach holiday. Reasons for Travel

People travel for many different reason. In the tourism industry we devide the reasons for travel into three main categories: leisure tourism, business tourism, and visiting friends and relatives.
Leisure tourism can mean anything form excursions, day trip, and weekend breaks to package holidays, pleasure cruises, and longer independent trips such as hillwalking or treks in the mountains. It also includes cultural trips. For example, pilgrims on a walking tour to a holy place.
Business tourism includes any travel away from one’s main place of residence, for such events as meetings, conferences, and trade fairs. It also includes special trips when workers are given a reward or a “thank you” for good work. We often call it as an incentive tour.
Travel in order to visit friends or family relatives is also regarded as part of the tourism industry. This could be for a special family party, such as a reunion or a wedding, or a regular trip made every year.

My Views on Fast Foods

It is well-know that fast foods have been popular with the people in our country, especially with the young people. Therefore, the fast food stores have been mushrooming on every corner of this island.
The main reason why most people enjoy fast foods is that such foods are generally fresh and sweet, and the service is convenient and really “fast”. Besides, the fast food stores are so well-designed that customers like their nice atmosphere.
For my part, I don’t like fast foods very much. To begin with, fast foods are not a healthy diet. One may gain much weight after eating a lot of fast foods. In addition, as a healthism, I will decide to eat healthy foods rather then fast foods. In my opinion, it is not worth while to eat fast foods.

How to Elevate the Medical Level in Taiwan

With the elevation of living standard, people lay much emphasis on their health. Hence, to elevate medical level is a task of top priority for the government and the public. In my opinion, the ways to elevate the medical level in Taiwan are as follows.
First of all, the nuits concerned should increase the education of medical members, such as school education, on-the-job training, and professional training. Secondly, the modern hospitals should be built in both large cities and remote areas, and the medical members should be encouraged to serve in remote areas so as prevent the imbalance of medical service. Thirdly, the welfare of medical members must be taken into consideration when we devote ourselves to elevating medical level.
In short, to elevate the medical level in Taiwan is an urgent task. I firmly believe that as long as the medical level can be elevated, the health and well-being of the public will be improved and our country will become richer and stronger.

The purpose of lanterns in Taiwan is not only for illumination. There are various kinds of lanterns which depend on different occasions. The purposes of lanterns are included not only weddings and funerals but also spiritual comforting and encouragements. People in Taiwan often write words or drain something containing stories and allusions on lanterns to display their specific purposes. First of all, everyone should be observant of the traffic rule. Secondly, the mass media should teach the public to put emphasis on traffic safety. Thirdly, the government should curb the growth of the number of cars and motorcycles and severely punish those who violate the traffic rules. Fourthly, all the driver should be re-reducated. Last but not least, the construction of mass rapid transit system should be completed as soon as possible.
In short, to improve the traffic is a task of top priority for the government and the public. I firmly believe that as long as everyone devotes himself to the improvement of traffic, our traffic will become much better soon.

Firstly, I can only get a efficient reading under no role restricting or ordering to read something. Moreover I can uncertainly analyze the topics or keywords corresponding to the article with my own knowledge in advance. The way of direct read is fast and efficient. Secondly, the reading strategies can uncertainly meet all kinds of article. For example, many articles have abstract topic sentences and keywords. It does not work if reader only read the abstract information. In accordance with reading strategy, I will still follow my way to read articles. It is not worth while to lose ardor at the cost of following any reading strategy.

I am interested in photograph. I use the brand of PENTAX to take photos when I travel or go outside. I am faithful to PENTAX because I am drastically fascinated by PENTAX’s lens, color captured and history.

PENTAX produces three kinds of non-zoom lens with metal structure, silver appearance and noble look. PENTAX players in Taiwan title these three lenses as Great princess, Second princess and Little princess per their manufacture year. The Little Princess is regarded as the best non-zoom lens and its performances are also worthy of the name. The price is also too noble to have.

The Little Princess suddenly occurred to me on March 22nd. I was astonished at two things. Firstly, the raised price in the period since last August to now. The price has raised about NTD10,000. Secondly, PENTAX has had moved production lines of lenses to Vietnam. The last batch of Little Princess made in Japan is going to be sold out soon. It implies that I will never have a Little Princess lens made in Japan even if I am able to afford the expensive price in the future. I thought I had to make a decision immediately so I connected some retails to require whether the lenses are in stock or not. I am very fortunate, one of retails stocked one. The Little Princess belongs to me was bought by me. The lens cost me NTD38000. I can not help but I have to have the lens. I finally have the classic lens now. I believe the Little Princess will bring me more enjoyment and fulfillment in photograph.
